A prompt is what you tell the model for this job. A skill is the procedure you save, so the next job does not start from a giant paste. Two of the references are catalogs: skills for motion design, and libraries for building websites with an agent.
Why it matters. The steps you repeat belong in a file you can edit. The Builder guide loads one SKILL.md into a working agent. These pages are how to split a long prompt, and how to review a skill someone else wrote.
